Man Faces Death Penalty For Shooting Home Invaders

The picture used in the Marvin Louis Guy case.

Back on May 9, 2014 a little after 5:30am in Kileen, TX, a man named Marvin Louis Guy found himself arming and defending himself against unknown intruders trying to break into his home. During the process 4 of the intruders were shot and one was killed and the home was defended.

Now Marvin Louis Guy is facing the death penalty!

"Why?" Is what I know most of you are asking. And the answer to that is because the intruders happened to be police officers conducting what is known as a "no-knock raid." This means at any time police can begin kicking your door in and carrying out any type of search, or arrest, or maybe even a shooting, without first announcing who they are.

This is a very delicate case and it is understandable why that is so. What isn't understandable is how a similar story of a no-knock raid resulted in a similar fashion and all charges against the shooter were dropped because the jury felt it was an open and shut case of self defense.

Some publications such as The Free Thought Project have pointed out one major difference in the two similar cases is the previous defendant, Henry Goedrich Magee, is white, whereas the current defendant is black. Another reason being the stark contrast in the choice of photos used for each story.

All this came about because of a faulty tip about drugs being sold on the grounds of the property. Nothing more than minor paraphernalia was found throughout the entire house. Certainly nothing worthy of a no-knock raid or any other kind of raid. Certainly nothing worth an officer losing his life over. This is an apparently mindless strategy for the police to adopt.

Now, with Marvin Louis Guy facing the death penalty over something that appears to be an open and shut case of self-defense, one must ask "where is black lives matter?" This is the person that they need to be out protesting and fighting for. You would think this would be the main case for them.

The man Charles Dinwiddie is dead because he followed the poorly thought out strategy of the Kileen, TX police department. The man Marvin Louis Guy is facing the death penalty because of the poorly thought out strategy of the Kileen, TX police department.

Conclusion: One man is already dead and they want to kill another man because of the incompetence of the Kileen, TX police department. America needs to be held responsible for whatever happens to Marvin Louis Guy. Judging from the evidence in the story he is no criminal. And if we allow them to do this to this man it will become a mistake we will all severely rue.
